Event planning started out simply as recreational enjoyment. My friends and family knew I loved doing it. In 2019, I was in my friend’s wedding and I planned the bridal shower with the Maid of Honor. It was then I realized that I didn’t want this to just be a hobby that people knew I loved. I wanted it to be my career, one I would be more than happy to do in every stage of my life.

 

So, in June 2020 (yup! in the middle of a pandemic), I shared my vision for making this career of mine take off. I didn’t want to just coordinate events, I wanted to work for myself. Be Our Guest Events by Samantha is a creative outlet, one of my greatest enjoyments, and fulfills the entrepreneurial spirit in me.

 

This isn’t just about planning an exciting or entertaining event. For me, it’s the genuine pleasure of taking a load off my client’s shoulders, organizing their thoughts, creating their vision plus some, and allowing them to actually enjoy the event they’re hosting.
